Machu Picchu will always hold a special place in my heart. It is not because of its intense natural beauty, its architectural splendor, or the overwhelming mystique that surrounds this location, but simply because it was the sole reason of what brought me to Peru. Peru is where my life changed forever. Machu Picchu initiated the beginning of the journey into my soul and led me to the man that I would eventually marry.
